I am taking a break from photography and working on light shows:
"Hollywood and the World." A lot of people are borrowing this image for blogs, cell phone backgrounds, etc. I don't mind as long as it's non-commercial and you link back to this page or the main page. Taking a close look, you'll notice a prism/rainbow effect on the lights, caused by chromatic aberration of the lens. Photographers are taught that this is "bad," but I think it can be used creatively in night photos.

The Hollywood sign is a work of art and one of the most famous pieces. As with most art, you are not allowed to touch. Get too close and you get arrested. Someday I'll get better film scans of this image and the others below... In the meantime, they are still fun to look at.

Yes, the slide really does look like this (better actually). See if you can figure out why.... Hint: look near the centers of the white starbursts.

Some of the locals drive on whichever side of the road they feel like. :-) My flatbed scanner cropped this more than I prefer. Someday I'll get the whole frame with a dedicated 35mm scanner and upload it here...
