DESCRIPTION: 5,000 feet of this! There were a couple cracks on the left side that resembled bergschrunds seen on glaciated peaks. (Crevasses formed where a glacier separates from a rock face.) Southern California has no glaciers or permanent snowfields, so it was a treat to see that kind of stuff here.
